Meet Mamie, our oldest ewe - she's 14 years old and still going strong. Although her teeth have started to loosen and her body isn't as it used to be, Mamie likes to stay close to the barn to make sure she gets well fed and gets all the extra nutrients she needs. 

She's a feisty old girl and doesn't let anyone stand in her way - especially Lady the Border Collie knows that by now, since Mamie isn't shy to attack if Lady get's to close for comfort. 

Did you know that Mamie actually means grandmother in french ?

Showing the beauty of The Faroe Islands through my creativity has always been a dream of mine.

Living in this place surrounded by harsh seas, strong winds and dark winters photography started as a way to look for beauty in everything. Growing up in a small town as a farmers daughter, animals have always been close to my heart. Through this series I want to show the natural beauty and soul of these majestic creatures.
